Welcome!  Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  The purpose of this space is to share my insights as a peak performance and mental skills consultant, strategies that have been proven by research to be effective, and quick tips that you can implement immediately to increase the performance in various areas of your life.

I will give you a fair warning, though.  While many of these strategies and tips seem common sense, and many of them are, common sense is not always common action.  There are no hacks to consistent peak performance.  Although the strategies and tips that I share with you will be effective, you DO have to practice them.  It's not realistic to expect to go to a personal trainer, be given a series of workouts to do, NOT do them, and then expect to get stronger.  Well, the same is true for the skills that I will discuss.  They must be practiced in order to increase your mental strength and perform more consistently.

One final thought and then we will get started.  I have the good fortune of working with elite and youth athletes, business professionals, entrepreneurs, coaches, and teams (both business and athletic).  The skills that lead to optimal performance apply to all domains.  The only difference at times is how they are applied.  So, in this blog, when I give an example of a strategy that I have used with athletes, it is also applicable to the business professionals or the coaches who may be reading the article or watching the video.  The application may be just different.  We are all human and what drives optimal performance is the same for all.  I will separate the different blogs into categories so if there is a specific category you'd like more information on, you can simply click on the category on the right-hand side.
